i am just curious to hear of some you who have left the org completely, how happy are you?
in my situation i feel like i am on a precipice and about to make a leap into the unknown.
since i have told my family elders and wife that i will mo longer go to the meetings or out on service i feel as if a load has been lifted.
I felt elated and like a load had been lifted when I finally talked to my family about my feelings.
I must warn you though that this trip is a rollercoaster. This is a cult after all, they don't let you leave just like that. My life is dreadful right now but at the end of the 'river of shit' I know I will come out clean.

Putting aside whether Dawkins is right or not, perhaps it's the fact that he comes across as an smug, arrogant, pompous, condescending little asshole and is obviously very proud of it that offends many people.
In other words, people just don't like him!
I have to agree with this. I have tried to read his books but can't get over his tone. All the same, just because I don't like the man it doesn't mean he is wrong and I have come to the conclusion that he is right about evolution.
